Unfortunately I haven’t had as much time to work with it as I would like. So far I love it, only thing, at this point anyway, I don’t like, is the fan, it’s awfully loud - although bearable. Configuration wise, the all I’ve done is uninstalled Norton, and installed ZoneAlarm. Also, installed Ruby and MySql, doing some work with the 2 of them.

What’s this blog all about? Well, I’ll tell you what it’s all about… It’s going to be my personal account, detailing my trials and tribulations as I work with my new Asus V1J/p laptop + afford me an opportunity to learn the WordPress blogging software. Some topics I expect to cover over the next several weeks:
- Why the Asus V1J/P
- ‘Bloatware’ cleaning
- Ubuntu installation
- Vista installation
- More to come…
Truth be told, my laptop hasn’t even arrived yet! I’m hoping to receive it next week, and when I do, I’ll be sure to share my first thoughts with you.
